What joined minds think within Plato’s Cave is never neutral. It always supports the powerful elite whose way of thinking in turn supports white supremacy, capitalism, imperialism, and patriarchy.

S 1 E 26, Lesson 17: “I See No Neutral Things”

We see nothing as it is – not even the walls of our room or our own bodies. Everything is shaped by what our keepers have taught us long before we’ve had a chance to think for ourselves.
S 1 E 24: “I Have No Neutral Thoughts”

ACIM recognizes that our world is engaged in a bloody class conflict in which we must take sides. We’re either on the side of the poor or the world’s aristocratic oppressors. Neutrality is impossible.
S 1, E 23: “My Thoughts Are Images That I Have Made.”

Here’s a simple reflection to put in perspective Lesson 15 of ACIM’s Workbook for Students. Please read the lesson first (here) then listen to my interpretation.
S1, E 22: “God Did Not Create a Meaningless World”

In Lesson 14, A Course in Miracles proposes a profound redefinition of reality – of the word “real.”
S1 E 21: “A Meaningless World Engenders Fear”

Episode 18, Lesson 10: “My Thoughts Do Not Mean Anything.

The lesson asks us to clear our minds of all falsehoods (i.e., of ALL our brainwashed thoughts without exception) and even to make our own the prayer, “Release me, Lord, from all that I now believe.”
Episode 17: “I See Nothing as It Is Now”

Episode 16, Lesson 8: Preoccupation with Patriotic Illusions We Should Have Outgrown

Since the Second Inter-Capitalist War, all of our nation’s wars have been fought against the poor. But despite our spending $2 billion per day on preparing for war, “we” haven’t triumphed in a single one since 1945. Our “glorious” troops have been thrashed by farmers, tribal people, mothers, grandparents and children defending their homeland against U.S. imperialism. That’s happened undeniably in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq. When will we ever learn? No one is attacking us.
